The team at Build My Home used a new side return extension and extensive internal re-configuration to add space and value to an already-beautiful property in Brighton.
This is a story that melts our hearts. Having lived in this property when they were younger, this client decided to purchase back their childhood home and use it as a base for their own growing family.
In order to add some more much-needed space to the house, they instructed Archangels Architects and the Build My Home team to transform the small, dark kitchen/diner by extending it to the side and adding a porcelain tile terrace that stretched right out into the garden.
The aim of the project was to create a light, open living area in which the client could cook, eat and relax with a glass of wine at the end of a long day. The whole family fell in love with the space as soon as it was unveiled, and it’s safe to say that having extra room in this area of the house has really changed the way they live. It’s simply gorgeous, even if we do say so ourselves!
